One of our favourite bits of software to help in the battle against Spyware / Malware / Trojans etc. is called Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. Malwarebytes is dedicated to fighting malware. Malwarebytes has developed a variety of tools that can identify and remove malicious software from your computer. When your computer becomes infected, Malwarebytes can provide the needed assistance to remove the infection and restore the machine back to optimum performance.

The free version has certain limitations, but wil still be active in protecting you and your computer. Activating the full version unlocks realtime protection, scheduled scanning, and scheduled updating. For consumers and personal use, there is a one time modest fee.

How do I get it?
Simply download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from the one of the links on the next page. Double click the downloaded file to install the application on your computer. Once the application is installed, double click on the Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware icon on your desktop to start the program. When the application is open, select Scan and the application will guide you through the remaining steps.
