If you are concerned that your laptop, desktop computer or android phone may be stolen, there may be an quick, easy and free solution! It won't prevent your computer from being stolen, but you stand a better chance of getting it back. How? Read on.The Prey Project, an Open Source project from Carlos Yaconi, installs a discreet bit of software on your computer that once you have activated it (if your computer or android phone is stolen), sends back to you the location of your stolen computer once it goes online, (connects to the internet). It even sends you a map, which is quite accurate, of exactly where the computer is, and if a webcam is installed (like most laptops have), will even send you a photograph of the person illegally using your machine!
