(18Mb approx.)	Norton Removal Tool Removing all traces of Symantec's Norton Anti-Virus can be tricky, then is usually something left behind even after you have completely removed the product. Download and run this removal tool to completely remove any trace of your Norton product. (3Mb approx.)

Download and run this removal tool to completely remove any trace of your McAfee product. (.5Mb approx.)	AVG Anti-Virus AVG is generally acknowledged as probably one of the best 'free' anti-virus programmes. Although not recommended for the commercial environment, AVG free is okay for general use. Ad-Aware 2008 Along with anti-virus software, a good anti-spyware programme is essential for PC health! One of the best is Ad-Aware from Lavasoft, and should be 'run' at least once every 2 weeks, and updated often. (23Mb approx.)	Adobe Acrobat Reader v.9 In order to download and 'read' pdf files, you will need a good (free) pdf reader programme. One of the best is made by Adobe (pronounced 'adowbee'), click the link to download the free version 9. (25Mb approx.)

Smart Defrag Defragmenting your hard drive no only speeds up programmes, but is proven to elongate the life of the computer's hard drive (HDD). This free version, called Smart Defrag can be downloaded in a few minutes and can be set up to 'defrag' your HDD automatically. (2.5Mb approx.)	Foxit pdf Reader If you want a free alternative to Adobe Acrobat, try Foxit Reader instead - it's just as good as the Adobe version! (4Mb approx.)

Easy-Zip If someone send you a 'Zip' file (compressed file), then you will need something to 'unzip' it! This is a free system that will do it all for you. (2.0Mb approx.)

SpeedFan If you need a tool that can change your computer's fan speeds, read the temperatures of your motherboard and your hard disk, read voltages and fan speeds and check the status of your hard disk using S.M.A.R.T. or SCSI attributes, then you came to the right place. SpeedFan is the software to go. It is fully configurable and you can create custom events to handle every situation in an automated way. SpeedFan works under Windows 9x, ME, NT, 2000, 2003, XP and Vista. SpeedFan works fine on Vista 64 bit too. And this all costs you absolutely nothing!

Spoofstick SpoofStick makes it easier to spot a 'spoofed' website by prominently displaying only the most relevant domain information. It's not a comprehensive solution, but it's a good start! So what is Spoofstick? With the upsurge of fake websites, Spoofstick assists you in making sure you are on a legitimate website, not a spoof one! Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Malwarebytes Anti-Malware software is free to download and install, and will remove spyware and malware from your PC - a scan can be either a 'Quick Scan' or a 'Full Scan', we recommend a Full Scan after initial installation.

Microsoft Security Essentials is a free download from Microsoft that is simple to install, easy to use, and always kept up to date so you can be assured your PC is protected by the latest technology. Flash Player 10 FlashPlayer 10 is free to download and install, and will allow you to play and view any Flash Player file on a website (including Flash Games!).	Recuva If you have lost or accidentally deleted a file from your computer, (photos, Word documents etc.) then Recuva is probably your best way to get it back. Download and install this clever bit of software and see for yourself!

Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer * If you don't have PowerPoint (part of the Microsoft Office suite) installed on your computer, you can still view PowerPoint presentations by downloading the viewer.	Microsoft Word Viewer * If you don't have Microsoft Word (part of the Microsoft Office suite) installed on your computer, you can still view MS Word documents on your computer by downloading and installing this software.

Compatibility Pack for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint * By installing this 'Compatibility Pack' in addition to Microsoft Office 2000, Office XP, or Office 2003, you will be able to open, edit, and save files using the file formats in newer versions of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
